Bognor home burgled while owners were out shopping

Police are appealing for witnesses after a bungalow was burgled in Chalcraft Lane, Bognor Regis, while the owners were shopping.

The residents returned to find the front door had been forced and left open between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday February 6.

An untidy search had been made and a number of items were stolen including five gold rings, two bracelets and a cut crystal glass bowl with the St John Ambulance logo on it.

Detective Constable Emma Fields said: “This burglary has happened during the middle of a Saturday afternoon at a property close to a main road.

“We would like to hear from anyone who saw something supicious in the area.”
