Chichester crime - Can you help police solve these recent cases in the district?

Despite the country-wide lockdown, police officers are still being kept busy by crimes across the Chichester district this week.

In its weekly crime bulletin, Sussex Police said 57 arrests have been made in Chichester and Arun, for offences including; wanted on warrant; domestic assault; actual bodily harm; criminal damage; possession of a knife; harassment; fraud; affray; shoplifting; grievous bodily harm; dangerous driving; aggravated vehicle taking; driving whilst disqualified; driving under the influence of drugs and burglary and assault on police.

However, police said arrests are yet to be made for five other incidents including:

— St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester – On Monday, April 20, a bike was stolen from the bike stand after the lock was cut. Serial 1579 20/04.

— Hambrook Hill South, Hambrook – In the early hours of Wednesday, April 22, some stables were burgled and two horse carts were stolen. Serial 1274 23/04.

— Green Lane, Selsey – On the evening of Thursday, April 23, the window of a residence was criminally damaged. Serial 1041 25/04.

— Carters Way, Wisborough Green – Between Tuesday, April 21 and Wednesday, April 22, some fuel was stolen from a vehicle. Serial 0664 22/04.

— Graffham – Between Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, a shed was burgled overnight and a quad bike and power tools were stolen. Serial 0385 25/04.
