Driver arrested after Eastbourne collision

Police were called after a black Vauxhall Insignia collided with a number of parked vehicles and ended up in a driveway in Manor Road at 9.35pm on Friday (June 19).

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Officers attended and the driver was arrested.

“A 24-year-old man from Eastbourne, arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink and assaulting an emergency worker, has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.”
