These are some of the most serious, high profile and prolific offenders, including some despicable sex offences, drug dealing and causing death by careless driving.

Karl White led police on a pursuit through Littlehampton, before crashing as he attempted to squeeze between two bollards into a pedestrianised area, said police. He caught the attention of officers on routine patrol in the town, who noticed the number plate did not match the make and model of the grey Citroen C8 he was driving. They activated their lights and indicated for it to stop in Eldon Way, but the vehicle continued and reached speeds of up to 60mph in the 30mph zone, before eventually crashing in Harwood Road. The incident, which occurred about 5.10pm on 9 February, led the Citroen to become trapped and the driver was detained. He was identified as White, 32, a floor layer, of no fixed address. He failed a roadside breath test, which showed he had 83mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. The legal limit is 35mcg. He was subsequently arrested and charged with dangerous driving, careless driving, drink-driving, driving with no licence, driving with no insurance, driving without a valid test

Frank Graham was jailed after being found guilty of throwing a corrosive substance at two people in Eastbourne, said police. Graham, 39, unemployed, of Upperton Road, Eastbourne, was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment when he appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Friday (June 11). He had been found guilty by a jury of two counts of throwing a corrosive fluid with intent to burn / maim / disable / disfigure / do grievous bodily harm. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a Class A drug and possession of a Class B drug. Graham was charged and stood trial on May 6, 2021. He was found not guilty of aggravated vehicle taking, but guilty of the other charges. He was jailed for six years, with a further two years to be served on extended licence. Photo by Sussex Police. Bryan Godoy-Lojan was jailed following a Sussex Police investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in Brighton, police said. Godoy-Lojan, 24, of Avondale Square, Southwark, London, appeared at Hove Crown Court on 2 June charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine. From July 2019 to January 2020, Godoy-Lojan was found to be operating a drug line under the name 'Colombian Mitch'. Detectives linked him to a phone number used to carry out drug deals through telecoms analysis. Text messages revealed exchanges between 'Colombian Mitch' and people wanting to buy drugs. Through a series of searches conducted in relation to the investigation significant quantities of heroin and crack cocaine were seized from addresses in Brighton.
