Man charged over Eastbourne stabbing

Two men were taken to hospital following the incident on Tuesday (August 18).
Sussex Police initially reported it happened in Firle Road but now say it took place in nearby Cambridge Road at about 9.20pm.

Hide AdInvestigations led to the arrest of Ethan Russell of Cranfield Road, Bexhill.
The 21-year-old was charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm, possession of a knife in public, and possession with intent to supply cannabis, said Sussex Police.
He was remanded in custody and will appear before Lewes Crown Court on September 18, police said.
Of the victims, a 37-year-old Eastbourne man remains in hospital in a stable condition. While a 33-year-old man, also from Eastbourne, was discharged.
