Manhunt for inmate on the run from Ford Prison

A man serving a five-and-a-half year sentence, for drug offences, has absconded from Ford Prison, police have said.

According to Sussex Police, Eduardo Cantalupo, 23, is reported to have gone missing around 1pm on Thursday (December 17).

"He is described as 5ft 10in, of slim build, with scruffy dark hair and was last seen wearing grey trousers and a grey top," a spokesperson said.

"Cantalupo has links to London and may return to this area; enquiries to trace him there are being made with the Metropolitan Police."

Anyone who sees him is advised not to approach him, but should report online or call 101 quoting reference 1286 of 17/12.
