Midhurst and Petworth crime - Can you help police solve these ten recent cases?

Detectives are seeking help from the public in solving ten crimes in and around Midhurst and Petworth.

In its weekly crime bulletin, Sussex Police said numerous arrests were made over the past week, for offences including; criminal damage; actual bodily harm; drink driving; no insurance; possession of a Class B drug; immigration; robbery; common assault; shoplifting; domestic assault; possession of a Class A drug; theft of a motor vehicle; drug driving; affray; possession of an offensive weapon; grievous bodily harm; assault on police and breach of bail.

However, police said arrests are yet to be made for a number of other incidents including:

- West Street, Midhurst – Overnight on Thursday, December 26, a business premises and a residence were broken into. Alcohol and cash were stolen. Serial 0215 of 27/12.

- Colhook Common, Petworth – Overnight on Friday, December 27, two properties were broken into. Chainsaws, strimmers, push bikes and a hedge cutter were stolen. Serials 0279 and 0300 of 28/12.

- Vanzell Road, Easebourne – Overnight on Friday, December 27, two properties were broken into. Two mountain bikes were stolen from one property. Serial 0314 of 28/12. Numerous tools were stolen from another property. Serial 0565 of 28/12.

- London Road, Petworth – Overnight on Friday, December 27, a garage was broken into and a racing bike was stolen. Serial 1245 of 28/12.

- Station Road, Petworth – Overnight on Friday, December 27, there was a report of Christmas lights being damaged and removed. Serial 1277 of 31/12.

- Danley Lane, Haslemere – Overnight on Saturday, December 28, a property was broken into and numerous tools were stolen. Serial 0310 of 29/12.

- London Road, Petworth – Overnight on Saturday, December 28, a property was broken into and numerous power tools and a bicycle were stolen. Serial 0362 of 29/12.

- Red Lion Street, Midhurst – Overnight on Sunday, December 28, a business premises was broken into. Cash was stolen. Serial 0168 of 30/12.

- North Street, Midhurst – Overnight on Sunday 29 December, two business premises were broken into. Cash was stolen from one property. Serials 0208 and 0316 of 30/12.

- The Street, Graffham – Overnight on Monday, December 30, a business premises was broken into and cash was stolen. Serial 0404 of 30/12.
