Midhurst and Petworth rural crime forum

OFFICERS from the Midhurst and Petworth Neighbourhood Policing Team are holding a rural crime reduction forum.

The event at Cowdray Hall will discuss rural crime and the work of the team.

It will take place on Thursday, October 25 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

An agenda will be sent out before the forum but some of the topics up for discussion will be an overview of rural crime in Chichester district, incident reporting and rural antisocial behaviour, including raves and fly tipping.

There will also be advice on offer on crime prevention and farm and plant security.

There will also be time for a general discussion.

It is also hoped a number of stands will be displayed on such topics as DNA marking, remote alarms, locks, wildlife crime and the Farm Watch radio system.
