Police want to speak to this man after attempted break-in at building in Chichester

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted break-in at a building in Chichester.

According to Sussex Police, officers were called on April 25 to reports of a man trying to enter a building on Lion Street at around 1.45pm.

Officers believe the man pictured could help with their enquiries, police said.

A spokesperson added: "Police would like to speak to this man about an attempted break-in, in Chichester.

"Some damage was caused to the front door of the premises and to a security alarm box.

"Anyone who recognises him, or who has any other information about the incident, is asked to contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 763 of 25/04."
