The South Coast Design Forum will be holding a one-day conference in support of an exhibition of their patrons’ work on Thursday, April 14.
Interior designer Robin Day, who died last year, and his wife Lucienne, were patrons of the forum since its inception five years ago.
The conference has been organised to tie in with Pallant House Gallery’s exhibition called Robin and Lucienne Day: Design and the Modern Interior and will feature several guest speakers including Oliver Heath, Johnny Grey, Barry Jenkins and Wayne Hemingway.
Topics will include where do we work in the age of mobile working, is the kitchen an evolutionary lens of home design and what is a home fit for the future.
The conference, sponsored by Pallant House Gallery and Kenwood, will take place in Pallant House and will also include a talk by Kenwood’s Robin Ferraby and SCDF’s Peter Murray will outline a vision for SCDF in the future.
The conference is open to SCDF members (£45) and non members (£60).
