Dumped car clean-up bid in county
Last year 1,800 vehicles were abandoned across West Sussex. Now a countywide drive to remove dumped vehicles as soon as possible is being stepped up- while at the same trime ensuring the vehicles are disposed of in a way that meets new government regulations designed to protect the environment.
West Sussex County Council in partnership with the county's seven local district and borough councils has signed a three-year contract with SRC Recycling Ltd vehicle removal and disposal specialists that will also save money.
