DESPITE challenging conditions for gardeners there were nearly 200 entries for the annual produce show of the Easebourne Garden and Allotment Society.
Chairman John Humphris thanked everyone who took part, and praised all those entered for the first time this year.
Katie Cordle, the new business development manager at Cowdray awarded the trophies. The Society introduced the Dave Gibbs cup, a new trophy this year for the best individual entry in vegetables.
Dave was an active member for many years until he suffered a stroke. He was at the show to award the cup to Alec Penny, who won it for his prize beetroots.
