Easter extravaganza at miniature railway
A new Easter extravaganza is planned at Hotham Park Miniature Railway.
This exciting four-day venture, from Good Friday to Easter Monday, will include fun activities and the chance to win prizes.
But before the event, there is a chance for children to create egg designs to display on the locomotive Boris.
Kim Morgan and Chris Lewis operate the train in Hotham Park, in Upper Bognor Road, Bognor Regis.
Kim said: “This Easter event is a new thing this year. We are running a four-day extravaganza but in the lead up to it I would like to find three winning Easter egg designs to decorate our engine, with a chance of winning prizes.
“The egg can be flat or 3D. Entries can be dropped of with us in Hotham Park or at Heygates Bookshop, in High Street, before midday on April 10.”
Why not join in the fun on the railway over Easter?
Hunt the bunny while riding the train on Good Friday, April 14.
Ride the train for free if you arrive fully dressed as an Easter Bunny on Easter Saturday, April 15.
The first 20 children to ride the train on Easter Sunday, April 16, will receive an Easter egg.
Have fun counting the egss while on the train on Easter Monday, April 17.
Kim added: “Each day, we will have a colouring sheet, toy trains, lucky dip plus teas and coffee in support of Chestnut Tree Hospice.”
