Eight face deportation after police swoop
Eight people arrested by immigration officers face deportation after they were found working illegally at a restaurant in Chichester.
Twelve officers from the Border and Immigration Agency '“ who were wearing stab vests '“ surrounded the Fortune Inn at Chichester Gate last Thursday lunchtime after receiving information about illegal workers.
They entered the premises to question staff and check identity documents.

Hide AdSeven of those arrested are from China and the eighth person is from Malaysia.
Regional director for the Border and Immigration Agency Toby Smith said: "Getting a job in London and the south east is not a free for all.
"There are strict rules about who can and can't work here."
