Enjoy illuminating workshop event...

A lantern-making workshop is being held on Saturday, November 22 in Bognor Regis.

The event has been arranged by the town council as part of the peace week activities and to support the Christmas lights switch-on the following Saturday.

The workshop is for children aged between seven and 12 at a cost of 1.50 a child. It will take place at The Hub in the Queensway between 10am until 4pm. Each child should supply their own lunch. Booking is essential.

Lanterns made at the workshop will be used as part of the lights switch-on where a parade of the illuminations will take place before the ceremony. Those who attend the workshop will be expected to be in the procession.

A day of guitar music in Bognor Regis will be one of the concluding events of the Arun peace week.

The Regis School of Music in Sudley Road is hosting the adult event of guitars for peace between 9.30am and 5pm on Saturday.
