ESTATE'S PARKING PROBLEMS
Lewes town centre parking charges have resulted in parking problems for people living on the outer fringes of the town.
Malling Residents' Association heard on Monday that parking charges were now affecting the Martlets and St Michael's Terrace where cars were parked in front of garages, resulting in residents being unable to get to their own vehicles.
NCP wardens were due to visit the estate to monitor parking but police say a traffic order was needed to deal with the problems.
The highways department has been asked to issue the traffic order.
