The clock hands will soon return

Thankfully they have not been stolen - instead Chichester City Council has commissioned the replacement of the clock mechanism.

It follows the council funding the repair and cleaning of the Cross recently, and the clock lighting will also be replaced.

The latest work started in February and should be completed soon.
