THE Fernhurst Centre celebrated its recent open day where it produced the last few calendars for the mass of people who went along to the community hub over Christmas.
A presentation was made by trustee Antonia Plant to manager Pauline Colcutt for all the work she puts in, ensuring the smooth running of the place and the help she gives to clubs and societies.
The centre has become an important part of the village’s life over the last few years.
A presentation was made to Pauline for all the work that she puts in, ensuring not only the smooth running of the place but the help she gives to many of the clubs and societies with their websites and general needs.
There are also sessions at the centre for courses in computers, photography, ipads, book clubs, quilting, knitting, languages and much more including book swap and just relaxing with a cup of coffee.
