A FERRARI driver is on bail after a car crashed into a garden wall in Lavant yesterday evening (May 12).

The 29-year-old man was arrested by police on suspicion of drink driving and has been bailed by officers until June 21.

Police were called just before 9pm to the accident at Lavant Road, close to the mini-roundabout with Pook Lane.

“The car damaged a brick wall but no one was hurt,” said a police spokeswoman. “A 29-year-old Chichester man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and then later released on bail until June 21.”
