Film looks for silent partners

Rob Greens, of Abbey Road, has written the film for two elderly women and it will be screened as part of the Brighton Film Festival next month.

Rob was a film studies student at Kent University and "Age Concern" will be produced by another former Kent student, Simon Martin.

"We are looking for two elderly actresses," Rob told the Herald.

"They have to walk with Zimmer frames. There's no dialogue. They meet on a narrow street and refuse to budge for each other."

Simon commented: "It's a Mexican stand-off, but with OAPs in Lancing."

They said the finished film would be very surreal, with a touch of Ealing comedy.
