Fire team rescue horse from Donnington ditch

A specialist rescue team was called to Donnington after a horse got trapped in a ditch.

The 16 hands-high horse became trapped in the ditch off Pelleys Lane, Donnington, on Saturday at 7.50am.

West Sussex Fire an Rescue’s technical rescue unit was on the scene.

It took two hours to free the horse, which was left in the care of a vet.
