Firefighters rush to tackle Rustington bedroom blaze
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a bedroom blaze in Rustington just before dawn today (Monday, July 7).
Two crews from Littlehampton and a third from East Preston rushed to a flat in Ash Lane shortly after 4.20am to tackle the fire.
However, when officers arrived at the first floor property, the small fire had already been extinguished.
Firefighters conducted an inspection of the room and concluded the blaze had ignited accidentally.
They left the home just before 5am.
