Fontwell launches search for a Queen

Fancy yourself as an undiscovered blue-blooded member of the royal family?

Has your resemblance to Queen Elizabeth II been pointed out by friends and family? Then Fontwell wants to hear from you for their right royal competition!

The racecourse launched a poster campaign this week to find a Liz lookalike to star in proceedings during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

They are on the lookout for a doppelganger for the Queen to launch Fontwell’s Diamond Jubilee Raceday on Sunday, June 3.

The winning lookalike will get a royal box for your friends and family to enjoy – plus the chance to make a raceday presentation.

Not only will there be seven great races, but free family entertainment including chair-o-planes, games stalls, funfair rides, penalty shoot out inflatables, face painting and much more at the course.

Children under 16 go free and adult tickets start from just £10 for the first 200 redemptions as part of the ‘Come Racing for £10’ initiative.

The gates open at 12 noon and the first race is off at 2.30pm. The last race is at 5.30pm.

Entries to Fontwell’s competition have already started to flood in, with regal older ladies keen to take part.

Remember, the more regal you look in the photograph, the better!
