Four hurt in five car crash
Four people have been taken to hospital following a crash near Battle this morning.
Five cars were involved in the accident on the A271 in Ashburnham, just outside Ashburnham Place, at 7.30am this morning (Wednesday).
Four people were taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings in neck braces and spinal boards with suspected neck and back injuries.
A spokesperson for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said they are not critically injured.
Police closed the road in both directions.
