Lodsworth and District Garden Club's Flower and Produce Show on Sunday was a delightful celebration of life in the village.

Homegrown flowers, fruit and vegetables were beautifully displayed, as were the flower arrangements, cookery, photography and children’s entries.

The judges were very complimentary about the overall presentation and lots of visitors went along to admire the results of everybody’s hard work.

Jo Huffener, Silver Jubilee Plate for most points overall; Gordon Cup for most points in vegetables; RHS Banksian Medal for most points in flowers, fruit and vegetables.

Jill Halfhide, Crosbie Cup for most points in flowers and fruit; Brecknock Cup for most points in flower arranging.

Paul Phillips, Lady Nathan Trophy for best vegetable collection.

David Fortune, Thorp Trophy for most points in culinary skills.
