From baby hedgehogs to tawny owls and tiny birds, Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital, in Sidlesham, now has a number of cute creatures being cared for by its staff after they were rescued.

“Brent Lodge receives about 3,000 patients a year, including lots that have problems caused by people - road accidents, cruelty, poisoning, etc. But at this time of year it’s all about the babies,” said manager Emma Pink.

Check out our gallery to see some of the recent cute arrivals at the centre.

Earlier this year a female badger cub, which now has a new playmate, has become a firm favourite with fans of their Facebook page.

And on Friday, June 28, Brent Lodge was nominated by the British public as part of Bing’s ongoing Help Your Britain campaign, which aims to encourage the public to do more for charitable causes.
