Game of Thrones actor to record Battle tourist app

Game of Thrones star Anton Lesser is to be the voice of a new tourism app, which will allow visitors to learn all about Battle.

GeoTourist is a GPS-based travel app which offers audio tours for the world’s most interesting attractions, landmarks and beyond.

Work is underway to create an audio guide for Battle.

Updating her fellow councillors at a recent meeting, Battle Town Council chairman Margaret Kiloh said: “The historical society has produced the text and photographs for the app and they did it in record time in order it could be recorded by Anton Lesser.

“It has been sent off to Anton Lesser and it’s hoped he can record it before he goes away filming.”

Among the tours currently offered by GeoTourist is a Hastings Stade Educational Tour, where acclaimed Hastings historian Geoff Hutchinson narrates this 17 point tour of the historic area.
