Give something back to Sompting...

PEOPLE interested in giving something back to the community have been urged to apply to become a parish councillor in Sompting.

The parish council is seeking to co-opt a new member for the Cokeham south ward, and would welcome expressions of interest.

Anyone interested in becoming a Sompting parish councillor should send their name and address to the parish clerk, at 6 Ravens Road, Shoreham, BN43 6PR.

Sompting Parish Council is moving ahead with plans to improve and enhance community facilities in the village.

It is also working to create a village "heart" centred around the recreation ground.

A village newsletter will be produced at the end of May, to be distributed to every household, and the second Sompting Festival is to take place in early June.
