Speaking at Goodwood Revival on Saturday, the UKIP leader criticised left-wing Corbyn for ‘wanting to let everyone’ into the country, when he said the vast majority of those coming to Europe were not refugees.

“Mr Corbyn wants to let everyone in so we can look forward to that,” Mr Farage said.

“The Labour party has just elected a leader who believes we are all part of one world.

“That might go down well in the north Islington dinner party set but I don’t think it’s what ordinary people think.

“As far as UKIP’s concerned it’s a huge boost.”

Corbyn polled almost 60 per cent of more than 400,000 votes cast, beating his rivals Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper and Liz Kendall in today’s result.

Mr Farage said: “As far as the refugee crisis is concerned, we need to define who a refugee is and isn’t.

“It’s perfectly clear to me the vast majority of people coming across the Med are economic migrants and not refugees.

“When ISIS say they will use this route to flood Europe with their own Jihadists, when they say it, they probably mean it.

He added: “The United Nations say there are £59 million people displaced because of war, we can’t take everybody.”

Speaking about being at Goodwood Revival, he added: “A pal said he was coming, I’d heard about it from lots of people but never been before.

“And then I was told the Vulcan was flying at 4pm and I may never see it again it was a done deal.”
