Half-term fun for youngsters at Pagham Harbour

Families are being invited to make the most of half-term fun at Pagham Harbour nature reserve, and learn more about the local wildlife and shoreline.

Three events are taking place over half-term week:

n Tuesday, October 28: Shark egg case hunt, from 3.30pm. Search for mermaid's purses on the shoreline and find out which shark-related species they come from. Discover a wealth of other shoreline surprises. Meet at Pagham Spit car park, Harbour Road, Pagham.

n Thursday, October 30: Bird box and feeder bonanza, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Now is the time to prepare bird feeders as winter rapidly approaches, and to put up bird boxes.
