Prince Harry has sent out his official Christmas card, a picture with a 95-year-old Battle of Britain veteran at Goodwood which he says was one of his highlights of 2015.
The black and white photograph depicts the prince proudly grasping the hand of World War Two pilot Tom Neil as he prepares to take off as part of the 75th anniversary commemorations from Goodwood Aerodrome in September.
The photo was sent out by the official Kensington Palace Twitter account with the message: “Merry Christmas from Prince Harry!
“Here’s his Christmas card photo showing one of his favourite moments from 2015.”
The 31-year-old Royal sacrificed his place in one of the planes so that Mr Neil, and two wounded serviceman, could take part in the air display, and afterwards expressed his ‘pride’ at meeting them.
