THE Haslemere Charter Fair comes alive again in the town centre on bank holiday Monday, May 7, next year and is open to ideas from local charities who want to raise their profiles.
“For anyone who runs a charity, club or society in Haslemere and is looking to raise funds, attract new members or reach the group of people you want to help, then the Haslemere Charter Fair is an ideal event to help you reach your goals,” said Ceri Jane O’Hara, Haslemere Charter Fair committee member.
“Unlike purely commercial events, the Charter Fair has always been a platform where local charities and organisations can raise their profile within the community.
“Whether you want to simply make yourselves known or use the opportunity to raise funds, we would love to see you on the day.”
The whole of the centre of Haslemere will be transformed with events, rides and attractions for the whole family. The fair, which is open to the public from 1pm-5pm, normally attracts around 8,000 visitors.
Booking application forms for the 2012 Charter Fair will be sent out at the beginning of January.
Anyone who would like a booking form in the New Year should contact Ceri at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact 07920 115690.
“If you don’t get through, please leave a message – as the Charter Fair is run by volunteers we are not always available.”
