Hastings paramedics raise hundreds for charity

Paramedics from Hastings hosted the National Ambulance charity six-a-side tournament and raised hundreds of pounds for charity.

There were ten teams from ambulance stations who took part and came from as far as Dundee for the event, which was held on April 24 at Horntye Sports Complex.

More than 450 was raised for St Michael's Hospice and Breast Cancer UKat the evening event with a raffle, with donations from local companies.

The Hastings team won an exciting final after extra time and a penalty shoot out against a very good South Yorkshire team.
