KEEN walkers and their four legged friends are invited on a stunning spring stroll to raise money for Canine Partners.
On Saturday, April 26 from 10.30am, the charity will be hosting its annual Bluebell Walk.
Join staff, supporters and faithful four-legged friends for a picturesque walk through the countryside, setting off from the Canine Partners’ national training centre, in Heyshott.
It should take about 60 minutes, although there is also a shorter walk option available. Some of the terrain may be difficult for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Afterwards there will be a selection of refreshments to buy and a merchandise stand.
The event is part of the charity’s national Bluebell Walk Campaign, which has raised more than £130,000 in the past ten years.
All funds will help the charity train more assistance dogs to transform the lives of people with disabilities.
Canine Partners CEO Andy Cook said: “The walk is always a great success, but we hope to make it bigger and better this year. We receive no government funding and rely on public support, so this is a great way to raise money while enjoying a relaxing day out with the family.”
For details contact Holly Bryan on 01730 716 013 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Entry is £4 for adults, £2 children and £10 for a family of four.
Parking is available at the training centre.
