Residents led by Icklesham Parish Councillors Jane Austen, Nick Warren and Steve Tollett braved the heavy rain to pick up a large amount of litter from the recreation ground and surrounding area.

People across the country have been tidying up their towns and villages to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday next month.

The council would like to thank all those involved.
