Injured man airlifted after fall from roof near Midhurst

A man in his 60s was airlifted to hospital after he fell from a roof in Iping, near Midhurst on Tuesday (April 5).

A South East Coast Ambulance (SECAmb) crew and paramedics were called to the scene just before midday when the man fell 15 feet from one section of the roof while working.

He was treated at the scene before being taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital.

A spokesman for SECAmb said the man suffered injuries to his head, chest and collar bone.
