The Manning School of Irish Dancing, which meets in Barnham, was invited to the supermarket by Crossroads Care South Central, a care provider that is Sainsbury’s Littlehampton’s charity of the year.

The young dancers performed in the coffee shop, with girls as young as six doing the complex footwork and older girls dancing in their competition outfits.

Janice Willcox, from Sainsbury’s, said: “It was a real treat for customers to experience some Irish culture in the lead up to St Patrick’s Day with music and dancing.”
