It's a right royal litter clearance at Easebourne
VILLAGERS in Easebourne answered the call from their parish councillors on Saturday to gather together and '˜Clean for the Queen'.
They joined thousands of communities across the country who were also getting together to tidy up their towns and villages in preparation for the royal birthday celebrations when the Queen reaches her 90th birthday this summer.
For Easebourne villagers Saturday’s event was one of a regular series of working parties organised to keep the village tidy as part of the national anti-litter campaign, but parish councillors said it had a ‘special royal emphasis’.
