Joy as hub of village life is given £50,000 makeover grant

NORTHCHAPEL residents, near Petworth, are all set to give their tired village hall a makeover after securing £50,000 from the Big Lottery Fund.

The lottery support comes from Big's Reaching Communities programme, dedicated to improving the lives of local people across England.

Well used by Northchapel folk of all ages, from babies to grandparents, the hall's much-needed renovations will enable it to remain open and fit for purpose for the whole community including groups like the Brownies, mother and toddlers, childminding, a sports club, seniors' club, and social and community events.
