Kirdford Parish Council object to housing proposal

AFTER outcry over a proposal to build homes on an area set aside for a village hall, even more objections are now being raised.

At a meeting of Kirdford Parish Council’s planning committee on Friday (December 14) councillors formally voted to object to the plan.

The meeting was open to the public and more than 60 people attended, including a representative from Cascade Rural Housing Solutions Ltd, the development company behind the proposal.

The number of objection letters on the website has risen from six on Friday (December 14) to 26 today (December 18).
