LATEST: Cannabis ‘factory’ suspect is arrested near Rogate


POLICE officers found almost 40 cannabis plants in various stages of growth with an estimated street value of between £5,000-£15,000 at Rogate today (July3)

At around 8.30am toda they executed a drugs warrant at a van sales premises in Durleigh Marsh on the A272 between Petersfield and Midhurst.

They found the cannabis in two outbuildings on the site.

A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis production and is currently helping with enquiries.

Sergeant Chris White, of Chichester police, said: “We welcome any information about illegal drugs and will always take positive action to disrupt criminality.”

Anyone able to pass on details of suspicious activity or people can do so by emailing or phoning 101.
