Lensman's day at college

A small group of Slindon College students viewed life through the lens of a professional photographer.

The GCSE and AS level photography students attended a workshop with Martin Beddall.

The session focused on the professional life of a photographer and included lighting techniques as well as a look at computer software and camera lenses.

Peter Saysell, the college's head of art and photography, said the boys had reacted enthusiastically to the chance to meet Mr Beddall.

The college has expanded its art and photography department's work as well as investing in the latest digital technology.
