Life savers runhalf marathon

Rother Responders have a team of 4 entering the Hastings Half Marathon on March 22.

Rother Responders are a team of volunteer Community First Responders trained by the Ambulance Service to answer 999 calls within the local community.

Two of the Rother Responders, Jon Padovani and Carl Fraser have never done any running events before, so this is a particular challenge for them. Also running are PCSO Dan Bevan from Sussex Police and Will Barden from South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb).

Funds raised will go towards maintaining and developing the life-saving kit carried their team of volunteer Community First Responders, and to providing Public Access Defibrillators in the local area.
