Littlehampton Lions roaring at delightful double

Littlehampton District Lions Club marked the festive season with a dinner at the Windmill Inn, in Rustington, with 22 Lions and their partners in attendance.

During the evening, a cheque for £2,400 was presented to Derek Richards, of the air ambulance service.

The money will be added to other Lions clubs’ projects to fund the £250,000 needed for night-flying equipment.

The Littlehampton Lions have also been taking to the streets during the festive season with Father Christmas, raising an estimated £3,000.

This cash will be used to fund local projects and senior citizens’ lunches throughout the year.
