ROGATE holds its annual fete and flower show on Saturday (August 4) with a host of entertainment on offer for the whole family from 2pm.
This year’s event features Punch and Judy, tug of war, chuck an egg, shooting gallery, pony rides and children’s fairground. There will also be old favourites such as the book stall, vintage vehicles, fire engine display, cakes and produce.
The flower show will once more parade Rogate’s finest vegetables, plants and flower arrangements, while in the same marquee children, photographers and cooks will display their artistic and culinary skills.
Refreshments are also available, including teas, cakes, beer and barbecue and money raised will go to the village hall and recreation ground.
From 5pm the festivities will continue at the White Horse pub with a barbecue and music from Trevor John.
