Man suffered burns to his hands
FIREFIGHTERS issued a renewed warning to the public not to use accelerants in lighting bonfires after a householder suffered burns to his hands.
A fire crew went which went to an address in Terminus Avenue on Sunday evening gave the victim first aid until an ambulance arrived.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue advises that petrol or other spirits should never be used to light fires.
