Mast victory dismay
PERMISSION has been granted on appeal to site a mobile phone mast on the Highlands Roundabout, Ridgewood.
The decision has dismayed residents who campaigned strongly against the plan
The application for a 10m lamp post-style mast on the roundabout off Mallard Drive and the High Street was refused by Wealden District Council in September last year.
There were 187 letters of complaint from residents and strong opposition from the town council.
