Master fiddler bringsexciting show to Rye
Garry Blakeley is recognised as one of the best exponents of the fiddle in the country.
His highly acclaimed festival show The Wheel of the Year takes you on a passionate and exciting journey through the passages of history, whilst inviting you to experience the many magical festivals and traditions of the passing seasons.
Rose Blakeley’s descriptive lyrics are brought to life by Garry’s powerful and atmospheric music. Other members of the band are Russell Field (Barbara Dickson and Midge Ure), Edd Blakeley (Blair and The Tabs) and Jim Board.
The show takes place at Rye Community Centre, Conduit Hill, on Sunday August 10 at 7pm. Tickets, £10, from Grammar School Records in Rye High Street.
