IT’S that time of year in Easebourne when residents get out and about and spruce up the village in their annual spring clean.
Parish councillors will be out in force on Monday, March 26, at 6pm and would welcome help from any residents who would be willing to join them.
The meeting place is Cowdray Estate Office car park and all equipment necessary will be provided.
Still in Easebourne, villagers will be gathering in the George West Room in the Refectory at 9.30am tomorrow (Saturday, March 17) for the traditional making of the Mothering Sunday posies.
These will be handed out during the service at St Mary’s on Sunday morning.
Gifts of greenery would be welcomed and anyone who is able to offer help on the morning should contact Margaret Pratt on 01730 816087.
Midhurst Art Society’s spring exhibition opens to the public at the Oxmarket Centre of Arts, in Chichester, on Tuesday, March 20.
The exhibition will be open daily until Sunday April 1 from 10am to 4.30pm.
And it’s all happening at The Angel Hotel, in Midhurst, tomorrow (Saturday, March 17), where two mums from the Petersfield area are holding a fund-raising day in aid of CLIC Sargent, the country’s leading cancer charity for children and young people.
Elizabeth Greville and Michelle Snow are hosting a Pamper and Gift Fair as part of Yummy Mummy Week, which ends on Sunday – Mother’s Day.
The fund-raising campaign is all about mums doing something yummy for children and young people with cancer, while spending quality time with their children, family and friends.
Everyone is invited to shop for jewellery, clothes and shoes, books and skincare products from local traders or be pampered by qualified therapists at the hotel from 10am to 2pm.
