Midhurst readers celebrate storytelling week

“Storytelling is one of the most traditional forms of enjoyment for people of all ages,” said Jackie Travers, the manager of the Bupa home.

“It allows our residents to liberate their imaginations and be transported to other worlds without even having to leave the comfort of their armchairs.”

The home will host a local history-themed storytelling event on Wednesday, beginning at 11am.

She added she wanted as many family members and people from the community to attend as possible.
